I spent the last week on a tiny Malaysian island, drawing palm trees & sand-creeps and kayaking into bat-caves. I have a patchy vacation tan and i’m pretty sure i didn’t get malaria, and tomorrow i’m back to full time painting - hey, things are pretty sweet right now!
I saw this super funny picture of Sean Morris and decided I needed to draw it. This will be in a show we’re doing early next year. If you’re not following Sean’s blog, you’re messing up! His work is brilliant. You can check it out here:

DEAR INTERNET DIARY. Gosh, things have been pretty hectic/awesome lately. I’ve been back in Perthtown for a couple of weeks, following a month and a half in the US filled with art shows and drinking and sleeping on great people’s couches. Exhibited work in LA alongside Michael Seiben, Donny Miller and Jimbo Phillips, then in New York next to Mike Giant, Jay Howell and Morning Breath. Painted a wall in The Lower East Side, ate heaps of street tacos, went to Atlantic City and The Jersey Shore, explored the ruins of a bombed out psych ward in the Maryland woods, saw some sweet Tupac murals in Baltimore and some street wang in San Francisco. Also made heaps of *RAD FRIENDS*
Next week i have to go to an island off the coast of Malaysia and hang out in a tropical paradise for a week. Then i’ve gotta paint. A lot.
